Please note: Heat the thermostat gradually, never put a cold thermostat in boiling hot water as this stress's the temperture coil and will most likely damage the thermostat, so cover the thermostat in cold water and heat gradually untill the desired temp is reached.

I don't use gimmicks or sales pitches but i do agree that what spare parts suppliers charge for an item is far far more what you will pay compaired to EBay.
